Go Green with Now Jade!

Set along 2,600 feet of pure crystal white sand and nestled within a tropical paradise, Now Jade Riviera Cancun is home to many species of wildlife who call Riviera Cancun their home.

Green Initiatives at Now Resorts & Spas

At Now Jade Riviera Cancun and Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun, we recognize the importance of doing what we can to preserve the natural environment in the Riviera Maya. The beauty of our surrounding region is what attracts so many tourists to our area each year. We want to ensure the Riviera Maya stays beautiful, which is why we participate in a number of green initiatives throughout the year at our properties.

Our resorts are both active members of MARTI (Mesoamerican Reef Tourism Initiative), which focuses on the conservation efforts to reduce the tourism industry’s environmental footprint on the local marine life and coral reefs.

In our hotels, all of our rooms are 100% smoke free. Our plastic key cards are reusable and all of our bathroom amenities (such as shampoo, conditioner, soap and body wash) are all eco-friendly and biodegradable. We also encourage our staff members and guests to recycle plastic, glass, cardboard and other similar materials.

Both of our resorts are surrounded by restrictive mangroves that are taken care of by specialists to ensure this area kept in the best possible shape. We also make an effort to protect the regional fauna. During turtle nesting season, we protect the nests until the turtle hatchlings are ready to be released into the wild.

Of course these are just a few of the ways we are helping out our local environment, but we are always looking to expand our green in initiatives at Now Resorts & Spas!
