Giving Thanks at Now Resorts & Spas

Now Resorts & Spas are about escaping the everyday. And savoring every moment. So that’s exactly what we did this Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving at Now Resorts & Spas began with a favorite tradition of ours, the telecast of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade! Throughout the day the children who stayed with us had a blast enjoying a full schedule of events including turkey calling, arts & crafts and history lessons with the Pilgrims. And of course we had all the football games broadcast throughout the day and into the evening. As night settled in, we brought out the best part, a huge Thanksgiving feast prepared by our world-class chefs. All the trimmings were included. From pumpkin pie and cranberries to turkey and stuffing, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Kayak, Repel, Snorkel and Zipline Through Cenotes at Now Sapphire!

Experiencing cenotes should be on everyone’s bucket list. These incredible geological formations, unique to the Yucatan peninsula, are formed over many years when rainwater dissolves limestone, resulting in flooded caverns. Erosion causes these water-filled caves to collapse, revealing beautiful and mysterious cenotes to the outside world!

Visitors to Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun can experience four different kinds of cenotes in natural surroundings with a tour from Xenotes Oasis Maya. The tour takes visitors to an oasis in the middle of the jungle where they kayak, rappel, snorkel and zipline to explore the different types of cenotes.

Cenotes were considered a source of life for ancient Mayans. Cenotes provided them with water, and also represented an entrance to the other world. Guests on the Xenotes Oasis Maya tour will also learn all about these fascinating Mayan legends and the Aluxes, Mayan legendary guardians of the jungle.

Welcome to the Explorer’s Club!

There’s nothing like having time to relax and the fun, new experiences of a vacation to bring family together. However, sometimes parents need some alone time to bond on their own! That’s where the Now Resorts & Spas Explorer’s Club comes in. Kids between the ages of 3-12 can have the time of their lives at the Explorer’s Club, which is completely supervised by American Red Cross certified staff and open daily until long after the sun goes down, allowing parents ample time to relax without any worries.

Super Bowl Action at Now Resorts & Spas!

Guests who are traveling to Now Resorts & Spas this weekend are in for some football, food and fun! Super Bowl XLVIII is this Sunday, and we are planning some exciting parties to celebrate!

The Denver Broncos and the Seattle Seahawks will be facing-off, and we’ll be streaming the live broadcast of the game on the big screen at all of our resorts (locations may vary). Our guests will enjoy a wide selection of American “tailgate” favorites, unlimited cold beer and cocktails, football-themed activities and so much more! Or if our guests want to kick it back and watch the game from their room, they can contact their concierge in advance to make sure that they have the channel ready to go. And the weather won’t “rain on your parade” because a variety of indoor activities are available as well!
  • When the Sun Goes Down: Entertainment thrives when it gets dark! The outdoor theater provides exciting live shows such as “Idol” singing shows, Mexican entertainment shows, break dancers and fire breathers. Head on over to the beach to watch a big screen movie.
