A WOW story highlights a particular instance in which a resort went above and beyond for a guest or group. These moments are special and ones that the guest or group will always remember from their time at Now Resorts and Spas – we can’t wait to share more of them with you!

Deloris U. had been to Now Larimar eighteen times already, and during her second to last stay she had shared via her testimony the reason she kept coming back year after year, even after her husband passed away.  The reason was the great service she received, as well as all of the moments she had shared with her late husband at the resort and the great memories their vacations provided.

As a way to thank Deloris for her loyalty, we decided to do something extra special for her during her 19th visit!

For her 19th visit to Now Larimar, the resort staff decided to make this trip extra special for Deloris!

First, the resort staff got in touch with her travel agent to organize a surprise airport pickup. Erika (concierge) and David (butler) are her two favorite employees, so they personally went to the airport to pick her up.  When Deloris arrived, she was shocked to see Erika among the crowd, waiting with a crown, sash and a bouquet of flowers, which was appropriate because at Now Larimar, she is known as Princess Deloris.  But the surprise didn’t end there!

When she arrived at the hotel, a red carpet and the entire Operations Committee was waiting for her in the lobby to show their appreciation and welcome her with hugs. In addition, her room was decorated with a heart and the phrase, “We love you” made out of rose pedals and Hershey Kisses.

During her numerous stays, Deloris has shared many stories with us, which she keeps in a diary.  As an extra demonstration of their appreciation, the team gifted her a traditional Dominican diary when she departed, so she could begin documenting her new memories and stories there. Deloris, moved with emotion, thanked the staff for such an unforgettable stay.

The staff at Now Larimar Punta Cana gave Deloris the surprise of a lifetime and one she will never forget! We are thankful to the staff for taking this extra step to make a guest’s stay extra special.
