At Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun, we offer sustainability focused experiences that guests enjoy while on vacation!

Now Sapphire was recently recognized by the Rainforest Alliance for implementing an exemplary waste management program to reduce, treat and safely dispose of hazardous/non-hazardous wastes.

The program began with an analysis of the existing conditions and the education of our personnel. The resort worked closely with professionals trained in identifying, handling and sorting hazardous, chemical and solid wastes.

To date, Now Sapphire has recovered and recycled more than 32 tons of materials that would otherwise have ended up in the municipal landfill! We work hard everyday to educate our staff about creating and re-purposing organic compost, which visitors can then re-create for their own gardens at home!
