Monday Night Football Tailgate Kick-Off Party – 9/4

The NFL season will kick off at our resorts with football-themed games & activities throughout the day and a huge American-style tailgate party! Watch your favorite teams face-off as you enjoy plenty of tailgate favorites, beer and entertainment – teens can watch the game & mingle with plenty of snacks at the Core Zone Teens Club. Following the kick-off, these tailgate parties will be held to celebrate Monday Night Football every Monday night! The Now Entertainment Team at Now Amber Puerto Vallarta provided plenty of entertainment last year!

Mexico’s Independence Day – 9/16

¡Viva la Mexico! If you’re staying at one of our resorts on this day, you’ll get to celebrate the Mexican Heritage in full blast! Mexican-themed games and entertainment will be held throughout the entire day, and a huge fiesta will be held at night with even more food and family-friendly entertainment. OCTOBER

MLB Playoffs and World Series Games – All-October Long

Baseball-lovers will get to watch their favorite MLB teams compete for the entire month with a big screen on the beach broadcasting the games live! Enjoy snacks, drinks and even games & entertainment – locations are weather-permitting. These games will all lead up to the World Series – we’ll really step up our game with the celebrations when those arrive!

Canadian Thanksgiving Day – 10/13

Oh Canada! To honor the Canadian version of this traditionally American holiday, we’ll be celebrating with games and entertainment all-day long. The Explorer’s Club will have special activities and arts & crafts to honor the holiday! A Thanksgiving feast will be held at the restaurants – all with special menus. Halloween – 10/31

This celebration will truly be spook-tacular – with a day and night full of festivities! Bring your best costumes and enjoy an array of games & activities all day long, while you enjoy a big bash at night with even more food, drinks and entertainment (maybe even a costume contest). The Explorer’s Club will have special activities during the day such as arts & crafts and pumpkin carving – while the night will bring a holiday favorite… trick-or-treating! Mexican Revolution – 11/20

This day marks the beginning of the Mexican Revolution and as night falls the party begins! Dancing, drinking and great family fun mark this Mexican Tradition. There will even be games held during the day at at participating resorts. Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun played games on the beach to celebrate last year!

America’s Thanksgiving Day – 11/27

Who doesn’t want to enjoy this awesome American holiday on the beach in Mexico or the Dominican Republic?! Start the day with the traditional Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade (broadcasted LIVE) – parades may even be held at participating resorts. Kids at the Explorer’s Club will enjoy arts & crafts, turkey calling, and even history lessons with the Pilgrims – teens will enjoy beach games all-day long at the Core Zone Teens Club! Family-friendly entertainment will be held throughout the day, such as football games on the beach or pool games. Football games can be watched at various locations around our resorts… and prepare yourself for a massive turkey feast at night! Enjoy a variety of side dishes, as well as the traditional cranberry sauce and Pumpkin Pie – you’ll be stuffed by the night’s end. Oktoberfest is BACK!

If you missed out on this October-long celebration last year – you need to make it to one of our resorts for this German food and entertainment festival! Enjoy authentic German dishes – such as brats, sausages, pretzels with beer cheese, pastries and more. An array of refreshing German beers will be waiting for the adults! Feel free to bring your festive costumes and enjoy folklore music – this celebration is held at participating resorts. One of our fantastic team members at Now Sapphire Riviera Cancun enjoyed serving delicious German beer to guests last year!
