We had an awesome time at the Mind, Body + Spirit Retreat with Fitness Magazine at Now Jade Riviera Cancun! Over 75 people traveled to our beautiful resort to participate in this event. The three-night fitness extravaganza kicked off on Thursday, November 11th with a meet & greet with the Fitness Magazine editors. It was a great way to break the ice and allowed everyone to get to know each other before the intense workout sessions began the next day!
The weekend included morning runs on the beach, boot camp classes, children’s yoga, water aerobics, bicycle tours, group snorkeling and other fun fitness classes that challenged the group. It was fun to see all of the ways to exercise on the beach using “props” from the resort. From beach towels to coconuts, the instructors really got creative with their exercise routines.
Now Jade’s sandy beaches, shimmering ocean and stunning pools provided a beautiful and serene back drop for all of the fitness classes. This inspiring 3-day retreat proved that just because you are staying at a resort with Unlimited-Luxury® privileges doesn’t mean your vacation should only focus on unlimited meals! You can bring your fitness principles with you on vacation and still feel great when you return home!
